Summer is soon arriving along with the long dog days associated with the season. If you or anyone you know doesn’t have any plans the weekend of June 10 and 11, consider visiting the parking lot of The Outlet Collection for Rock The Lot. The event is free for all. Here, there will be live music, food trucks, games and other activities.

On Saturday, two music groups, Low Down Drifters (12 p.m.-2:30 p.m.) and Furniture Girls (3 p.m-6 p.m.) will perform. Two bands, Sightseers (12 p.m.-3 p.m.) and Damn Dirty Apes (3:30 p.m.-6 p.m.) are performing on Sunday.

The activities that people may take part in are two free basketball hoops, an instant viewing/sharing photo booth, temporary tattoos for children and plenty of other fun things to do.

Some of the food and drinks being served will be Galaxy Donuts, Chicago West, Stacks, Auntie Anne’s, and several other trucks.
