Isierra Pleasant is a newly transferred senior here at Auburn Riverside. She is a kind individual who is a sister to four siblings. Family is very important to her, and her mom is her biggest role model because she is always has a positive outlook. She also enjoys spending time with her only dog, Marley, and her best friend, Madison Manley.

Her favorite vacation was going to Huntington Beach with her family for a week, and her favorite childhood memory was going to Lake Chelan, where her family has been going since she was two-years-old. She hopes to visit Bali, Indonesia sometime in her future.

She has a busy schedule this semester, with her only elective being ceramics, and it just so happens to be her favorite class as well.

She transferred from Auburn High School where she was a cheerleader, during second semester, and still adjusting to life here.

“It was tough [transferring]. I didn’t know anyone here,” Pleasant said. “Transferring my senior year was really hard.”

Even though she was nervous to start over at a new school, she has made new connections and friendships and feels that the environment of Riverside was very welcoming and inviting to her. She stated that this was a change from Auburn High School, where the environment felt more negative.

Pleasant is excited for her future, and is attending Pima Medical Institute to become a dental hygienist. She plans on moving away from home in her future, possibly to California, and raising pigs. She is looking forward to high school graduation in June and starting the rest of her life.
